CāŠ—;
Norton Greenfeld suggested I drop you a note about the jericho. First, to
establish which of the J. Allen "clones" i am; i am not the mit, sri, or
texas version; i am the anatomy of lisp/ lisp conference/ (t.(l.c))-lisp
version. tlc -the lisp co- is generating versions of lisp for micros (in
particular, the z-80 so far) and as such is a possible consumer, not
competitor of a jericho-class machine.

my questions to Norton expresssed concern that the machine have a display
system supporting Display-lisp facilites; he assured me that such was the
intent. he passed my other questions to you: namely whether or not these
machines would be commercially available and if so, what time-frame? and
of course, the ubiquitous question of price.

my questions are not idle curiousity. i am talking with a company that
wants to commit to a lisp dailect for their future development, and
desparately wants an answer: interlisp? or maclisp? [personally, i am
opting for a middle ground (or more likely a swamp!) based on feasibility
of developing a common subset] they currently see commercial maclisp-like
machines; it could be useful to know that a comparable interlisp-based
product would be available shortly.

i would appreciate any help you could give,

john
